Well thats all very interesting but windows 95 has not been the choice for
lightwave animators in general it has been Windows NT which is true 32 bit
architecture. I see windows 95 as the step towards NT which was ignored just
as badly as OS2 or linux. No one wrote software for it till now because of
Microsofts dubious but effective policy of if you want your application to
wear the Windows 95 logo it must also run on NT (Microsoft knows exactly
what their doing sheep must hearded that includes software companies). No
matter how much you hate them you have to admit they got marketing smarts.
I'm sure IBM wished it had that kind of leverage to move the heard to accept
OS2 without it they'll never achieve main stream acceptance and the
applications will never be ported.
So what's your feedback on Windows NT I know Windows 95 is just windows 3.11
with a facelift.
